A Program that
opens up the world
At LEW, we combine ambitious general education with multilingualism, projects, workshops, and practical exploration of the contemporary world. Our program develops not only knowledge but also independence, critical thinking, future competencies, and readiness to operate in an international environment.
Program
We create a program that combines conscious pathway selection, multilingualism, and real preparation for further education and life.
Regardless of the chosen pathway, students may pursue advanced French or Spanish.
Additional subjects (optional): Film Club, Volunteering, Oxford-Style Debates, Art History, Chinese, Dutch.
Multilingual Education
At our high school, we implement a proprietary multilingual program. English is the leading language – in bilingual classes we offer 6 hours per week, and selected subjects are taught in English.
Support in Conscious Pathway Selection
We support young people in developing their interests and assist in choosing advanced courses based on:
- student aptitudes (questionnaires)
- preferred university majors
- consultations with a career counselor
- mentoring support from teachers
- staff knowledge acquired through training and conferences
Mentoring Support
Choosing an educational pathway can be challenging. A mentor helps students discover their potential, analyze progress, and consciously plan their development.
We support young people in building self-confidence, developing talents, and achieving academic success.
Pedagogical and Psychological Support
We individualize the teaching process and provide support from a pedagogue and psychologist. Each class participates in social skills training.
Future Competencies
- teamwork
- digital skills
- critical thinking
- information analysis
- problem-solving
- initiative and creativity
Workshops and Lectures
Participation in regular workshops and lectures conducted by the academic community (Vistula).
Trips and Exchanges
We organize integration trips and international youth exchanges.
Projects at LEW High School are more than learning—they shape the 21st-century intellectual
At LEW High School, we believe that education happens where theory meets passion and real action. Our projects are a space where you develop future competencies: critical thinking, collaboration, and courage in self-expression. You can discover what you truly enjoy doing and what brings you satisfaction.
Year-Long Academic Projects
We learn core subjects through the implementation of annual projects.
What do we do? We select a project group and complete successive stages of projects in Mathematics, Polish, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, French, or Spanish.
What does it provide? We learn teamwork and systematic action. We expand our knowledge in the chosen subject. We act creatively, awaken our curiosity about the world, and work using unconventional methods. We apply knowledge in practice. We learn to present project results and evaluate the process.
Film and Media Projects
We regularly participate in documentary film festivals (including LET'S DOC) and Young Horizons Film Education workshops, treating cinema as a starting point for important conversations in our school film education classes.
What do we do? We watch carefully selected documentary films, meet with filmmakers and experts, and participate in workshops.
What does it provide? We build empathy by listening to other people's stories, learn ethical integrity, and analyze images and media messages. We connect films with knowledge from Polish literature, history, civics, or ethics.
Oxford-Style Debates and Civic Projects
We learn to discuss difficult and important matters, such as "Nationalism versus Patriotism."
What do we do? We attend professional Oxford-style debates and participate in political simulations.
What does it provide? This is the highest school of dialogue. You will learn to build logical arguments, manage stress during public speaking, and—most importantly—respect your opponent by attacking their arguments, not their person.
Artistic Projects
Art at our high school is a tool for communicating with the world.
What do we do? We create artistic projects that extend beyond the school walls.
What does it provide? The project is meant to show you—your sensitivity, your fears, and your dreams. It is a manifestation of young people's identity in public space. We teach courage in being yourself and demonstrate that a student's voice is important and heard.
Journalistic and Media Projects
We change perspective by leaving school desks for newsrooms, cultural institutions, and places where social life thrives.
What do we do? We produce reports, conduct interviews, and analyze the current socio-political situation.
What does it provide? You gain practical digital and journalistic skills. You learn to select information in a world full of fake news and build broad, holistic horizons.
Diplomatic and Political Projects
We know that to understand the world, one must know the language of diplomacy and current political narratives.
What do we do? We invite diplomats, politicians, and scholars and engage in discourse with them.
What does it provide? We gain orientation regarding the history of political systems and the dynamics of their transformations. We learn to understand global politics and the specifics of diplomatic work. We become familiar with the language of elites.
Literary Projects
We practice literary craft. We learn sensitivity to literature.
What do we do? We meet with poet and writer Tomasz Jastrun and discover the secrets of a writer's craft.
What does it provide? We consciously construct texts, awaken imagination and literary taste. We learn to express our thoughts in words. We practice precision of expression and discover our idiolect.
Social Projects
We engage in charitable initiatives, collaborate with foundations, and learn social responsibility.
What do we do? We invite representatives of various foundations and discuss their mission with them. We participate in helping people in need, animal shelters, and support environmental projects.
What does it provide? We learn mindfulness and develop empathy. We help those in need, draw inspiration from people working in foundations. We are responsible for the environment and animals. We affirm our belief that we can change the world.
Cambridge Exams
Cambridge English Qualifications Preparation Centre
LEW Multilingual Education High School is a Cambridge English Qualifications Preparation Centre. During the teaching process at our school, we prepare students for Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE, and LCCI exams.
Students, while preparing for individual exams, develop all language competencies. This enables them to communicate naturally and freely in English, both in direct contact and through social media, for example.
Cambridge English exam certificates are recognized by 20,000 universities, employers, and governments worldwide.
Volunteering
Volunteering at LEW High School – Join us! The Student Council of the Multilingual Education High School (and LEW students) actively engages in volunteering with various foundations and cultural institutions. We believe that every act of help matters.
"Daj Herbatę" Foundation
We help people experiencing homelessness. This is a simple but extremely important initiative:
What do we do? Students bring prepared sandwiches to Central Station every Monday between 6:45 PM and 7:00 PM.
Rules: No need to arrange in advance, no specified quantity – the more sandwiches we bring, the better!

Museum of Modern Art (MSN)
Students interested in culture and art participate in the "Enter the Museum" volunteering program. They try their hand in two areas:
- Museum Narrative Service – for fans of talking about art.
- Accessibility Assistance – helping people with special needs during visits.

"Serce Dziecka" Foundation
As a school community, we support children with heart defects. We help not only through action but also by sharing information about the 1.5% tax donation. We remember that every gesture saves a little heart!
