Educating
the 21st Century Intellectual
The mission of the Multilingual Education High School is to educate young people who think broadly, act consciously, and are able to navigate the modern world responsibly. We combine multilingualism, a culture of dialogue, knowledge from various fields, and practical experience to develop students who are open, independent, and ready to make a real impact on reality.
Mission
21st Century Intellectual
The Multilingual Education High School implements an original pedagogical and educational program whose principles converge in the mission of shaping the 21st Century Intellectual.
In our program, the primary tool for understanding the world is multilingualism, which we recognize as a key competency.
Through intensive foreign language learning, we provide our students with a tool for building relationships in multilingual environments, as one of the school's foundational principles is establishing contacts with international institutions and facilitating international student exchanges.
We want our students to be open to the world and full of passion for discovering it, which is why in the 21st Century Intellectual program we place particular emphasis on learning intercultural dialogue, respect for diversity, and sensitivity toward others.
We also believe that the 21st Century Intellectual should be a conscious recipient of the world and participant in culture, which is why our program offers students holistic development designed by specialists from various fields (diplomacy, economics, politics, medicine, law, art, literature, journalism, psychology, exact sciences).
How do we understand learning?
Learning is therefore understood by us not only as the implementation of the core curriculum across successive subjects, but above all as a path to achieving erudite knowledge from various fields, whose application broadens understanding of the world.
For us, teaching also means an encounter between the student and an inspiring individual who shares not only knowledge but also experience.
We believe that acquiring practical application of knowledge enhances our students' abilities, which is why workshops, direct contact with science and art, and project-based work are integral parts of learning at LEW.
For us, the teaching process also involves the maturation of young people toward social engagement, which is shaped through the activities of school volunteer groups and collaboration with foundations.
